About Me
Hi! My name is Maria and I am Kitchen Sink Stamps, Inc. Here are a few tidbits about me.
Born and raised: Southern California.
While growing up, my entire summers (both parents were teachers) were spent in Northern
Minnesota. Anyone from Lake Vermilion, give a shout!
Profession: Wife, Mom (2 boys – 13 & 7),
Graphic Designer in the Music & Entertainment Industry (go HERE if you want to see more), and Clear Stamp Designer/owner of Kitchen Sink Stamps.
What brings a smile to my face: seeing my two boys playing together or cuddled up while watching TV.
What makes me want to pull out my hair: finding out that I am at the end of the Xyron Cartridge half-way through feeding my favorite card stock through the rollers.
What fascinates me: dragonflies
What creeps me out: snakes
Color I can’t live without: muted greens
Just can’t get enough of: color (inks & paper) …. oh! yes, and shoes
Color combo I am never tired of: Chocolate Brown, Cream and Robin’s Egg Blue
First Thing I do in the morning: put my feet on the floor (got to start some where!)
Last thing I do at night: check on my boys and give them one more kiss
Favorite thing to do when not crafting: enjoying the outdoors with my family or playing tennis
Favorite food or drink: Diet Coke
What I serve my family for dinner when I have been crafting and lost track of time: Stouffer’s Mac & Cheese
My favorite kitchen tool: Mr. Clean Magic Eraser (did I mention I have two boys!)
Favorite TV Show: Gray’s Anatomy, Burn Notice & I Love Lucy
Favorite movie: I love movies! To name a few: Big Night, Emma, Enchanted April, Muriel’s Wedding, Roman Holiday & Gidget ….
Favorite Book: Harry Potter
Favorite place to go: where ever there is water – the beach, lake, pool, water parks… even a run through the sprinkler (with my kids of course)
What I wish I had more of: right now… sleep!
What keeps me up at night: new ideas for new stamp designs!

Great questions, Maria! It’s very neat to put your face with your name now (and your voice, too since I got to talk to you yesterday!) and learn a little more about you! We have a lot of similar interests!

Just purchased the 3 step daisy and the first card I made was awesome! I am not good at coloring with pencils, chalks, etc. so this 3 step works for me!
Be sure that I will be buying more of your stamps!

I just love your stamps! The 3-step ones are just gorgeous and so easy to use, yet the images look like you are a professional artist! You were so helpful with my last order (I wanted an out of stock set along with some others) and I really appreciate it! I am looking forward to the tulip and lily stamps…great for spring! Can’t wait to see what you design next!

I am new to your stamps and blog (as in only 5 days ago.) Absolutely love them and will be ordering soon. I live in Tucson and went to the Expo this weekend– so could have seen you there without knowing that you were the owner/ designer of this great company! I’m looking forward to being a customer for a long time.
