Gift “Clutch” Envelope

Did you ever have a gift to give and discovered at the last minute that you completely run out of gift bags and your last gift box was being used as a construction paper aquarium???
With some quick improvising, I came up with this large gift envelope using two 12″x12″ sheets of kraft card stock and ScoreTape. A bit of stamping and the brush tip of a Copic marker for hearts to decorate plus a velcro dot to close the top flap … got the job done!
Whew!
Please check out what the rest of the KS Crew has cooked up for today.
The winners of KS Crew Challenge #26 will be announced a little later today (Monday – June 28th).
Happy Stamping!

Nice idea! Did you actually stamp the rose backward from step 4 ending with step 1?

Yes Nan – I find that sometimes it is easier to line the stamps up when stamping backwards … especially when steps #1 & #2 are very light colors.
You can find a full tutorial about stamping backwards on KSS’ Tutorial page. It is called Multi Step Stamping 102. Here is a direct link to our Tutorial Page: http://web.me.com/degrassicolosimo/KSS_IdeaGallery/Tutorials.html Happy Stamping!
