Another pair of Easter cards to share. The first, all but the sentiment, was first cut out with SVG cut files. Then stamped (all inks used are listed below), followed by assembling the pieces together. I accomplished this by adding adhesive to the back of the basket and then arranging the flowers from behind and then trimming the excess.
Using SVG cuts has completely changed the way I stamp… which I really do love! I can have card “components” cut and stamped ahead before knowing what type/design of a card I want to make… which is a life saver for last-minute cards! 🙂
My second card is stamped without any SVG cuts. The main piece is stamped all together on one layer, then cut out with a metal die. Still no masking. I stamped the grass right over the bunny… so he looks like he is sitting in the grass. Stamping the grass on the purple cardstock was an afterthought so it doesn’t quite line up… but gets the job done. 🙂
Today’s Christmas card is a “Mash Up” from 3 past Christmas cards. I didn’t even realize how similar this card was to the other three until after it was finished! I guess when you like something, you keep going back to it – even if it is subconscious! LOL

I stamped the pine cone and branches directly onto the designer paper and was a pleasant surprise with how soft and muted the colors became once they dried. I am glad I had waited for the branches to dry before I added the sentiment. Stamping the sentiment 3x’s helped for it to stand out.
There has been a lot to celebrate in our house lately with birthdays & graduations! But the celebrating doesn’t stop there … Kitchen Sink Stamps is also celebrating with the long-awaited release of new stamps!
Five new stamp sets from Kitchen Sink Stamps
… are almost here and will be available on June 10th! (That’s one week from today – YaHoo!)
I must share that I did something a little different when it came to designing the new stamp for this release. I asked the KSCrew, “What stamp set have YOU always wanted from KSS?”. Boy-O-Boy was I inspired by their input! Since I can hardly wait for you all you to see, I’ll have a new peak to show every day until Monday, June 10th! Here is your first peak. 🙂
PLUS … to add to the fun, beginning on June 10th, a special giveaway will be happening over on the KSS Forum for all our registered members. Please, stay tuned to find out more.
Now, if that wasn’t enough cause for excitement … look who is back in the Kitchen to help us celebrate the new stamp release and help us cook up some multi-step inspiration ???
Tammy Hershberger, that’s who!
Welcome back, Tammy! Always great to have you back in the Kitchen stamping with us!
That is all my news for today so I will leave today you with two single layered cards. Thanks for stopping by and have a Happy (and inky) Monday!
Please check out what the KS Crew has cooked up for you too!
KSS Crew designer, Connie, has served up a fabulous tutorial for June’s Project of the Month. I have wanted to know how Connie made this awesome Flip Book ever since she first showed it to us here. She has a gorgeous step by step photo tutorial that you will not want to miss! Thanks so much, Connie!
I am slowly coming out of my sugar-induced coma due to all the celebrating with several graduations and birthdays that took place this past week! Whew!
Today’s card was inspired… and cased from a by a card by KSS Crew Designer Lisa, you can see HERE, which was a challenge to case another card you had done. So, the ripples of casing just keeping going – LOL! Lisa’s card was a money holder, I changed my card to be a slide out tag.
For more KSS Monday inspiration, please check in to see what the KSS has served up to inspire you.
