Stamp all cutouts following color recipes from the links below.
Loosely position the teddy bear on the wood disk to determine where the pine tree will look best.
Stamp the pine tree (Palette ink) directly on the wood disk.
Next assembling cutout & stamped layers:
Santa Hat: Adhere directly to teddy bear – over the right ear. Brush white band and end of the cap with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen (Zig).
Candy Cane: Adhere directly to teddy bear’s right hand and overlapping the end of the candy cane over his right leg. Brush candy cane with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
Teddy: Add a skinny strip of foam adhesive tape to the back of the candy cane and pop dots to the back of teddy bear and his Santa’s hat. Adhere teddy directly to wood disk over pine tree. [NOTE: Make sure to keep the top of the candy cane fully on the wood disk.] Brush teddy’s eyes and nose with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen.
… now a Beary St. Nick! He’s a bear for many holidays!
Please don’t let the theme of this card imply that I have my seasons mixed up. I am attempting to get a jump start on my Christmas card making. I figure if I start now, I might be ready and have enough come late November … instead of my usual mailing my holiday cards AFTER Christmas! LOL!
Card #1 uses the 2 of the new sets, Multi-Step Rubber Ducky and Multi-Step Things 4 Ducky & Teddy for a fun Christmas card. Multi-Step Ducky was inspired by KSS Forum Member, SuperJen. She was the winner of last June’s forum Giveaway Game and her stamp suggestion was a Rubber Ducky set. I am so glad she did because I have been having so much fun stamping him (or her). 😉
Embellishments: Double-End Tag – Nestabilities from Spellbinders. Number Collage – Cuttlebug embossing folder. Aged Bronze Brads – Making Memories. Adhesive Rhinestone – Michael’s. Atyou Spica pens – Gold (accents on top of the crown) and Silver (accents on pinwheel).
