All that Glitters is Gold … and GREEN!

Coastin’ with a St. Patty’s Kitchen Sink Stamps’ Flash Back
St Patricks Day post card

Do you like to stamp on coasters?

With a little leprechaun magic with and…

Invisible Snowman (Multi-Step) Clear Stamps,

to dust off all his cupid love for this fun St. Patrick’s Day postcard – originally posted in March 2011.St Patricks Day drink coaster & post card #2

Here is another “Going Green” postcard with some green roses added and a St. Pat’s coaster. I added a transparent scalloped circle with embossing powder on top of the image portion of the coaster. This is to prevent the ink from bleeding when the coaster absorbs moisture when a drink is placed on top.

So, what is your favorite shape coaster to stamp on?   Have an inky day!

Teddy Valentine with Warm and Fuzzy Memories

A Teddy Flash Back Friday from Kitchen Sink Stamps … and a winner!

Be-My-ValentineToday Flash Back card was originally posted Jan. 2016. Not too far of a Flash Back but a fav of mine just the same. I have a real soft spot for this stamp set, Multi Step Teddy Bear Wishes Clear Stamps because the inspiration for “Teddy” came from my oldest son’s teddy bear that was given to him by my mom when he was about 2 or 3 years old.  ❤

OK, on to the winner of last week’s giveaway… and the winning number was 2!

A Valentine Heart Melts Again

Happy Kitchen Sink Flash Back Friday!

While slowly updating ALL the links from the new website over to my blog… it hit me how valuable a blog or gallery can be! There it is, a history of work, events, images, etc., all there waiting to be enjoyed again. So why not? It certainly has been a long time since I have taken a second look at some of my favorite cards from the past ten years and that is what I hope to share with you.

Today is an exceptionally beautiful day in So. Calif. for Feb. 2nd. The sun is shining, the air is crystal clear (still a big deal when you can see downtown LA and beyond to the beach – 30 miles as the crow flies = 1.5hrs via car! – lol). The tempt is a lovely 78°F – PERFECT!

After a quick glance at the global temperature map, it looks like 3/4 of the world is dealing with some chilly temps of 50° F and much colder! So, please don’t take it that I am bragging. Today is just an exceptionally gorgeous day and it is lovely temperature today that inspired me to flash back today’s card (from 2010).

I would love to know … What is the temperature where you live?

For everyone that leaves their hometown temperature in the comments below, will have a chance to win the stamp set, Multi-Step Invisible Snowman Clear Stamps. A winner will be randomly chosen and announced here next Friday (Feb. 9th).Invisable-Snowman-w-Sample-wtrmk

The winner picked will need to comment back within 48hrs, otherwise, a new winner will be randomly selected.

Have an inky Friday… and stay warm!

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday…

I have a fun project to share with you today … a St. Patrick’s Day Coaster POSTCARD!

Stamping on coasters, whether round or square, sure can be fun! So, when a dear friend of mine showed me a RECTANGLE coaster… (the perfect size for a postcard) … I started to drool and knew I had to have some. How fun would that be to stamp a POSTCARD!!!!

St Patricks Day post card

A few stamps used to create this St. Patrick’s Day postcard: Multi-Step Invisible Snowman Clear StampsMulti-Step Shamrocks & Clover Clear Stamps, and Multi-Step Hanukkah Clear Stamps.

So here is my take on a St. Patty’s postcard … it is going to another dear friend with the last name of Dooley… thought it would be most appropriate!  AND for some St. Patty’s fun….. the first reader to guess HOW MANY stamp sets I used to create this postcard… will win a set of 6 postcards of their own. 🙂 Leave a post here on this post to enter. Deadline is March 16th, midnight PST. I will announce the winner on March 17th!

NOTE: the stamp used for the address lines on the back of the postcard will not count since it is retired KSS set.

Good LuckI am off to go count how many myself!
