2 Weeks ‘Til Christmas – Holiday Ornament Countdown with 2 New Ornaments!

Two more Christmas ornaments to share this week. Both are great for your tree or for gift giving.

Christmas-Gift-Wood-Ornament

Stamps to make this ornament: Gift Multi-Step Clear Stamps, Winter Cardinals Multi Step Clear Stamps (branch), and sentiment from Tiny Norway Pine (SP Edition from Junkie-Fest) from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

Using Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah and the coordinating KSS SVG cut files.

  • Cut out 1 Christmas present from Gift.
  • Stamp present following color recipes from the link below. 
  • Brush Clear – Wink of Stella to present.
  • Stamp pine branch from Winter Cardinal (following color recipes from the link below) and sentiment (Rockin’ Red from Catherine Pooler) directly on wood disk. 
  • Brush pine cones and sentiment with Wink of Stella glitter pen.
  • Adhere Christmas present with pop dots.

Holly-Wood-Ornament

Stamps to make this ornament: Holly & Mistletoe Multi-Step Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

  • Stamp large Holly directly on wood disk (using Catherine Pooler inks).
    • Step #3 – Spruce
    • Step #2 – Grass Skirt
    • Step #1 – Lime Rickey
  • Brush Holly with Wink of Stella glitter pen.
  • Stamp large Berries on Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah (using Catherine Pooler inks) and fussy cut-out.
    • Step #3 – Peppermint Scrub
    • Step #2 – Rockin’ Red
    • Step #1 – Polished
  • Adhere Berries with pop dots.

Figure Skates, Holly, and Poinsettia were cut out with coordinating SVG Cut Files and then stamped. Holly and Poinsettia are attached with low profile pop dots (1mm thick) and Figure Skates are attached with regular pop dots (2mm thick).

Silver-Bells-Ornament

Stamps to make this ornament: Bells Multi-Step Clear Stamps and Holly & Mistletoe Multi-Step Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

Using Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah and the coordinating KSS SVG cut files, 

  • Cut out:
    • 2 large bells (a left and a right) and 1 set of ribbon (a left and a right) from Bells.
    • 1 large cluster of holly leaves and 1 small holly with berries from Holly & Mistletoe.
  • Stamp all cutouts following color recipes from the links below. 
  • Brush Clear – Wink of Stella to large holly leaves, ribbon, bells, and small berries.
  • Adhere the large holly leaves and ribbon directly on the wood disk
  • Adhere bells and small holly with berries with pop dots.

Stamps to make this ornament: Love Birds Multi-Step Clear Stamps, Ocean Waters Multi Step Clear Stamps, and Holly & Mistletoe Multi-Step Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

Using Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah and the coordinating KSS SVG cut files, 

  • Cut out:
  • Stamp all cutouts following color recipes from the links below. 
  • Brush holly berries and highlights on both swans with Clear – Wink of Stella.
  • Stamp directly on to the wood disc, the bottom portion of ocean waters.
    • Step # 2 – Juniper Mist 
    • Step #1 – Stone Blue – (both Catherine Pooler Inks)
  • Brush highlights in the water (unstamped area) with Clear – Wink of Stella.
  • Adhere one swan directly to the wood disc and the other swan with pop-dots. 
  • Adhere holly with berries with pop-dots.

This week’s ornament is a Frosty SnowmanInvisable-Snowman-Ornament

Stamps to make this ornament: Invisible Snowman Multi-Step Clear Stamps, Holly & Mistletoe Multi-Step Clear Stamps, and Owl & Autumn Moon Multi Step  Clear Stamps (for snowman’s face) from Kitchen Sink Stamps.Invisable-Snowman-Ornament-2

Using Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah and the coordinating KSS SVG cut files, 

  • Cut out:
  • Stamp all cutouts following color recipes from the links below. 
  • Brush Clear – Wink of Stella to hat band, red stripes in the scarf, carrot nose, and holly and berries.
  • Stamp snowman’s face directly on the wood disk. I use Step #1 of the moon from Owl & Autumn Moon, but any 2″ circle will work. 
    • I first stamped the snowman’s face with Frost White (Color Box).
    • Then added Kaleidoscope clear embossing powder (Stampedous).
    • Then stamp coal mouth with Onyx Black (VersaFine).
  • Adhere top hat, scarf, eyes, nose, pipe, and holly with pop dots.
    • TIP: Once the scarf and top hat were in place, I glued wooden toothpicks to the back of the top hat and scar that extends beyond the wood disk. The toothpicks give these pieces extra support. (see photo below)
