Gold at the end of the Rainbow

Happy Monday!

Have another “Pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow” card to share. This one took its inspiration from Splitcoast Sketch Challenge SC581.

I didn’t have any pattern papers with a St. Patrick’s Day theme, so I created my own using Plaid Plus and Multi-Step Paint Splatters

Pot-of-Gold by Kitchen Sink Stamps

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday and it’s time for a new KS Crew Challenge!

This month’s KSCC Hostess is Makiko. She is getting us all in the spirit for some trick -o-treating with her Halloween challenge.

You can find all the details HERE.

I started off creating an ATC card (which I haven’t done in a long time … just love them!), but when I stumbled across these spider brads in my  “stash” that were screaming to be used, I just had to turn my ATC into a card. 🙂 Thanks Makiko for the fun and timely challenge!

See what spooktacular cards and projects the KS Crew has created to inspire you today!

New Stamps, a New Challenge & more fun news from the Kitchen!

What a great way to start a new month, than with new stamps and a new KSCrew Challenge!

Connie is our hostess this month for KS Crew Challenge – #23.

Connie’s challenge: Masking

One of my favorite ways to stamp, is masking! A great way of creating a bouquet of flowers with few images, is to mask.

Today’s card uses one of this month’s new stamp sets (and sneak peek #1) called, Multi Step Lilacs.

First I stamped the light pink bunch of Lilacs in the center. Using Eclipse masking tape (I love this product), I made one mask of Lilacs using Step #1 stamp. Then masking the pink Lilacs, I add another bunch of flowers on each side. Moving my mask to each Lilac bunch to stamp the leaves to create a spring bouquet. I also added a 4th bunch of Lilacs with pop-up dots, for some added dimension.

Thanks Connie for the super fun challenge!

Each Lilac color combo can be found in the Lilac Color Recipe found HERE. I did this color recipe a bit different than I usually do and I sure would love to know which way do you like better????
