I realized that I had things that I had not shared during the move. If you were at the KSS/Stamping Around workshop in Ohio last June, then this tea towel might look familiar. This was another fun project I had planned for the workshop which had attendees stamping on 100% cotton blank tea towels with Palette Hybrid inks.
I am happy to share this project with everyone now, because for a limited time 100% cotton blanks and Palette Hybrid Inks can be found in the KSS store. I was very happy with how vibrant the Palette inks stayed on the fabric. After the ink was completely dried, I heat set it with a hot iron. đ
Thanks for stopping by!
Please remember to visit the rest of the KS Crew and see what they have cooked up for you this KSS Monday.
The past 5 months has kept me feeling a lot like this guy in the photo. Anyone remember this gentleman’s act from the Ed Sullivan Show (am I dating myself? LOL)??? I do and as a kid, I was mesmerised watching the plates spin as the performer would add another plate and another without any of them dropping. For anyone who isn’t familiar with this entertaining act… as each spinning plate would begin to slow down and start to wobble … the performer would run over, just before the plate fell and get the plate spinning again. He would run from plate to plate, saving each just before falling and shattering on the floor. Back then… it was a real nail bitter! OK… so I digress.
While the above describes what life has been like over past 5 months, you might be asking “why” or “WHAT” has kept me on the run in a “nail biting” state. Our happy little 1922 – California Bungalow (which seemed so BIG when we first moved in with only an 18 month old in arm), has begun to pop at the seams due to our growing family, growing boys and growing business! The GOOD NEWS …we found the perfect place for our family AND business to stay together and we are moving! Kitchen Sink Stamps, Inc. will continue to be a “cottage industry”. đ

To celebrate our exciting news and the Memorial Day weekend … we are having a MEMORIAL-MOVING DAY SALE… all weekend long!!!
Don’t worry about placing orders or contacting us… everything will be business as usual! đ
But, that is not all of my exciting news…Â
While waiting for all this “house stuff” to fall in place (I really don’t do well with waiting) I have been busy getting ready for our next KSS Work Shop & designing up a storm! YaHoo!
… and again with Stamping Around‘s workshop, Friday eve. & all day Sat. at Toyrifix. I can hardly wait to meet up with Julie Masse and (finally meet) Tammy Hershberger as well as the other SA instructors!
As for the WBPS …it will be hiatus for the summer as we move and get settled.
I am so deeply touched by all the emails with well-wishes.
First, I am just fine… and so is KSS! đ
I have been silent on my blog the past weeks due to being on the run, lending my Dad (who just had his 83rd birthday!) a big helping hand. He had some health issues at the beginning of the year and he is doing much better now. đ
…. and as for the WBPS (which has escaped me more times than I care to admit this month), I am having a special sale to make up for those missed Wednesdays this month! Thank you all for your patience.
Use PROMO CODE: THANKS
Thank you all again for the kind thoughts and best wishes…. and to a wonderful crew who have kept the Kitchen Sink forum & gallery going while I was absent. I will still be on the run for the rest of April and May… and hope the dust will have settled in time for me to head out to Ohio…. and stamp away with Julie & Tammy!!! đ
There is still time to sign up and join us!!! Go HERE for all the info for KSS & Stamping Around Workshop in OHIO:)

I sure have missed stamping these past few weeks!!! But, my MIA has not been in vain… I have been cooking up some exciting additions & changes that I hope to share with you all very soon!
In the meantime … I CAN share that KSS will be packing up and hitting the road for another workshop this June.
KSS is joining up with Stamping Around and going to OHIO – June 17 & 18, 2011!
I am so excited to meet up with Julie Masse, (one of the talented KS Crew) on one of her Stamping Around weekend workshops! When she asked me “so many months ago” if I would be interested in going to Ohio… (where Tammy Hershberger, a KSCrew Alumni, lives) and host a full day of KSS classes + a class for SA on Sat., I did not have to think twice to answer… YES! Actually, come to thinking of it…. I may have been so excited about putting 1 + 1 together ….ie: Julie + Tammy, @ Tammy’s well know place of work… Toyrifix,  I think…. I might have invited myself to join in the stamping fun before Julie could even finish her sentence … I don’t remember! LOL! But… that doesn’t really matter …I am going! YaHOOOO!
