Summer Berries

WOW, What a crazy summer!

This July, I had the surprise of a lifetime! The crafty technique genius, Jennifer McGuire, did a fabulous post featuring Kitchen Sink Stamps! YaHoo! (You can find her post HERE). Boy was I surprised… and honored!

She showed a unique way of aligning each stamp layer by using the Color ID Film (that comes with each stamp set) along with the MISTI for precision alignment! Sheer Genius!

Ironically, this Spring, I changed the film that I use for the Color ID Film (and the film that came in Jennifer’s stamp set that she shows in her technique). I change film for two reasons: 1] I could no longer purchase the film I had been using for the past 11 years and 2] found a film that was now waterproof.

Go HERE to read more about NEW Color ID Film use and care.

Stamps to create this card: Berries Multi-Step Clear Stamps and Make a Big Statement Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

I suggest you give Jennifer’s technique a try, but after you have used your stamps and they have lost some of their “brand new sticky”. Otherwise, the new stamps could pull off some of the printed ink from the color ID film and stick to your stamps.

No worries if this does happen. The ink can be cleaned off your stamps with rubbing alcohol. READ MORE about this HERE.

Please don’t forget to check in with the KSS Design Team (read more about the talent KSS Crew HERE) and see what they have cooked up. Have a wonderful Inky day!
