Dogwood Blooms & Junkie Fest 2019

Spring is HERE and so is Registering for Junkie Fest 2019!

Junkie Fest 2019

I am so excited about Junkie Fest 2019… because this year I will be teaching! I am teaching a 2-hour class along with many other great stamping & watercolor teachers/companies. You can find out all about it by clicking the Register Link below.

Last year at Junkie Fest, I met so many lovely crafters!

Stamp Junkies started as a Facebook group that has grown over the past couple of years. This group is a FABULOUS way to meet wonderful crafters from all over the country (and from other parts of the globe too). Junkie Fest is their once a year (so far) BIG get together and it is held in Minnesota in June/July. Chris Dayton is the organizer of Junkie Fest (and moderator of Stamp Junkies) and she knows how to put on a craft event! Last year the swag bag alone was worth every penny of the price + for the event!

You don’t have to be a Stamp Junkie to attend, but it does help for getting notifications about this and other smaller SJ events in your area). Last year, I met several brave ladies who came all by themselves to Junkie Fest and they had a fabulous time! If I wasn’t teaching, Knowing what I learned from last year, I wouldn’t think twice about coming if I didn’t know anyone… because by the end of the evening, you will have met at least 5 to 10 new crafting buddies! Plus, with all the classes, Make & Takes, eating and crafting social time, there is always something going on!

Please keep reading to see photos from Junkie Fest 2018 and the KSS Make & Take samples I created for last year.

Brush Strokes

These are samples of the 2 Make & Takes I created just for Junkie Fest last year. Each M&T took an average of 10-15 mins to complete and each participant got a free set of stamps too. I had so much fun designing these 2 sets for the M&Ts! I can hardly wait to show what I am creating for this year’s Junkie Fest where I will have a TWO HOUR class. We’ll make 2 -3 projects in my class and I will show as many multi-step stamping technics (stamp alignment, masking, ink selection & color stretching, etc.), and tips & tricks that I can fit in 2 hours… as well as a special stamp set just for Junkie Fest taking my class. You won’t want to miss it!

Here are a few photos from JunkieFest 2018. These were taken on the last day of Junkie Fest when I got to just hanging out and play with the fabulous ladies attending. I do hope to have time to do that again this year.
