Cheers with a St Patty’s Green Beer

Stamp a St Patrick’s Lucky Drinking Coaster Card.

The closest thing to sending a friend a green beer in the mail! lol I am hoping the recipient of this card will disassemble this card and use the coaster.

If the coaster looks familiar, that is because it was inspired from Friday’s Flash Back and I stamped another for today’s card.

To prevent any ink on the coaster from bleeding when a drink is placed on top, I used clear embossing powder to “seal” the Leprechaun Hat. I cut a “negative mask” using masking paper and a Scalloped Circle die from Nestibilies and ink directly to the exposed area of the coaster (right on top the Leprechaun Hat) with VersaMark and the coat with clear embossing powder.

Shamrocks and Green Beer St Patrick's Day Card

Stamps to make this card: Shamrocks & Clover Multi-Step Clear Stamps, Cup of Warm Comfort Multi Step Clear Stamps, Invisible Snowman Multi Step Clear Stamps, Make a Big Statement Clear Stamps, and Ready 4 Any Holiday Sentiments Clear Stamps from Kitchen Sink Stamps.

  1. Great idea to add the clear embossing powder to the coaster.

    1. Thanks, Sue! Stamping with water base “dye” ink will bleed if it gets wet (cold drink on a hot day = sweaty glass). I try and avoid stamping with Stazon “alcohol” ink because of the smell. The clear emboss seals the dye ink waking it water proof. 😊💖
