Pocket full … Peek #3

Peek #3 …

2 more days and five new stamp sets will be available in the KSS store.

Hope you’re not getting tired of bears? I am putting my bear army to good use. 😉

While I was searching around on the web (for a subject not related- typical!), I stumbled upon this fabulous blog dedicated to desktop crafting called, Clever Someday ( a really cute story about the name of her blog) by Kay Hall.  She created “09 KutUps”, a dingbat font for electric die cutters (SCAL, MTC, Silhouette Studio + any other cutting software that can cut TrueType fonts) that is absolutely awesome! PLUS… it is FREE!  (She only asks to consider “paying it forward” with a donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities.)

My card today uses two of the dingbats (with a little tweaking) from – 09 KutUps: flag banner and stitched pocket. The stitched pocket is backed with red cardstock so the blue pocket looks like it has red stitches (hard to see due to the angle of the photo). These are only 2 digital images out of the 90+ shapes that are included in this dingbat font.  I know I will be using this font a lot (my nestablilities are starting to look nervous!). If you haven’t already discovered this digital download for die cutting, you will want to check it out.

  1. OMGosh, those bears look fabulous! And I’m LMHO at “my Nestabilities are looking nervous!”

  2. Hi there, I will obviously recommend this to my social networks. I’m confident they will love the writing. But will you be more specific on the third part you have told in your post?

    1. Hi – Thank you for leaving a comment and letting me know I needed to be more specific (it was probably getting late when I was writing) ;). I have edited the last paragraph and added more details and I hope it makes things a bit more clear. If not, please don’t hesitate to ask me questions. 🙂 Thanks again!
