Pink Hydrangeas

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!

My card for today was inspired by Lynn’s 10 min. challenge – #76 (10MC76) – quick masking with Nestabilities. I think adding a shape, in this case, a square, behind the flowers, makes the flowers look like they are “popping” out of a bow or “window” instead of floating. Thanks, Lynn for sharing this great challenge (and tip).

I used the following stamps: Hydrangea Multi-Step Clear Stamps, Letters from the Past Multi-Step Clear Stamps, and Words of Love Sentiments Clear Stamps.

I think I was a bit heavy-handed when sponging the ink in the square masked area …  I think I should have used a lighter pink. It looks too much like the same color as the flowers. Live and learn. 🙂

The Color Recipe for Hydrangea can be found HERE.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful (and inky) week! Please check out what the KS Crew has cooked up for you today!
