Who loves ribbon?

Boy, oh boy! Did I have a surprise this weekend when I discovered that the fabulous ladies of the Kitchen … KS Design Crew cooked a Blog Hop for my birthday! I am still in awe of all their beautiful cards and so deeply touched! Thank you all for all the wonderful Birthday wishes… I truly had a fabulous Birthday weekend! 🙂

Now, it is the first Monday of the month, and you know what that means … a new KS Crew Challenge. This month, our hostess is Lynn. She is challenging us, KS Crew Challenge – #26, to dig in our ribbon box, drawer or where ever you store your lovely ribbons…. and get inspired!

So, I got to thinking about ribbon and came across this beautiful silk ribbon that I got from Sharon over at her Stamp Simply Ribbon Store … then I started thinking about vintage lace… and then thought about something old, something new, … something blue … and something with shrink art film! Sorry, nothing borrowed this time 🙂 … That dreamy silky ribbon inspired me to create this wedding garter. What more perfect than to stamp Multi Step Wedding Rings to create an embellishment for this ribbon garter?
I am writing up a full tutorial for this project, which I should have available a little later today. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun getting inspired by this scrumptious ribbon!?!
Please checked out what the rest of the KS Crew has cooked up for KS Crew Challenge #26 … with their ribbon inspiring KSS designs!

Thanks, Lynn, I had so much fun digging through all my ribbons (and making a total mess – HA!) for this super fun challenge!
