Sweet Summer Blueberries!

Blueberry-So-SweetWow, it is Monday already! Where did the summer go? So glad that we are still getting to enjoy the wonderful fruits & berries that come with summer! We have been eating blueberries all summer … I think my boys are going to turn blue!Smiley from millan.net

So with blueberries on the brain … and some inspiration from the sketch challenge SC242 on SCS, this is my card for today.


I finished a Color Recipe for Blueberries, using both inks from Stampin’ Up! & Tsukineko. The pdf file can be found HERE.

Paper: Solar White Classic Crest from Neenah. Soft Suede and Night of Navy from SU! Kraft from Papertrey. Light Cream Vellum from the Paper Company.

Ink: (are all from Tsukineko & stamped in the following order)Blueberries: Step #3 Imperial Purple – VersaFine, Step #2 Mediterranean Blue – Brilliance, Step #1 Mediterranean Blue stamp off 1x – Brilliance, Step #4 Onyx Black – VersaFine. Leaves: Step#2 Olympia Green – VersaFine, Step #1 Cottage Ivy – Memento. Sentiment: Majestic Blue – VersaFine. Sponged the edges with Desert Sand – Memento.

Embellishments: Adhesive Pearls from K&Co.
