  1. Traditionally our family tries to spend as much time together as
we can. We usually take one trip of four or five days and just
find a place that has the most of what we like to do close at hand.
We are typically scattered to the winds once we get home, but
our traditional summer get aways have provided us with strong enough roots that allow us to grow into the people that we are.
‘May each memory’ you make this summer do the same for you and yours!

  2. Like the sentiment so far. Our summer tradition is to take a short trip somewhere. Sometimes it might even be camping in the background and have some friends and family over to enjoy with us. Thanks

  3. We have a funny summer tradition of the entire family that live closeby get together to clean out my parents pool and open it up for the year…we clean, sunburn, grill out, eat and then collapse!

  4. Our summer tradition for the past several years has been a few days in the Wisconsin Dells enjoying the Great Wolf waterpark.

  5. When I think about this question, for me…the “traditions of summer” pretty much stop after the kids leave home. It’s completely different, so now we spend as much time as we can, on the boat or at the beach! Happy 4th of July everyone.

  6. Our tradition is changing. We used to spend every Memorial Day and Labor Day at our camper at a lake resort but recently we moved our trailer to our own piece of land so the tradition will be changing to all meet there when we get the property fixed up.

  7. The only summertime tradition I can think of is making BLT sandwiches and cucumber sald with the fresh garden veggies! OH & catching fireflies!

  8. Since the children have grown and married, we no longer have summer traditions. It’s just the 2 of us now, and we usually take the occasional trip to Ritas for some Italian water ice treats to cool off. It’s not really a tradition, but it’s what we do 🙂
This new set looks like a font set, and KSS has some of the neatest font stamps I’ve ever used! Every time I get a crisp, neat look, so I’m really looking forward to the next reveal:)

  9. We are a military family, so unfortunately, summer memories are usually filled with the hassles of moving. Other than that, just trying to stay cool, sometimes we are able to enjoy a BBQ or two here and there or a 4th of July picnic & fireworks, but those are few and far between.

  10. We don’t really have any summer traditions. For several years we took our girls to a theme park just outside of Calgary but we don’t really do rides anymore. Last summer we took several day trips to small towns around the province we’d never seen before. Got lots of “cheese” pictures!! This summer, guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Finances are very tight.

  12. My husband and I have been going to Star Spangled Celebration in Richland Center WI ever since we started dating. An awesome tradition that I don’t care to break any time soon! A 3-day “concert” of terrific country music stars. Of course we can’t forget the county fairs and Relay for Life!

This stamp set looks like it’s gonna be a must-have for me!

  13. I LOVE the sneak peeks so far! I can’t wait to see the whole set with the berries that keeps popping up on SCS!

Almost every year we get season passes to Fiesta Texas (Six Flags in San Antonio) and spend endless hours waiting in lines and walking around the park. We love to go to the water park at FT. My girls have a tradition of going to Grandma’s for her Vacation Bible School each year. My oldest is too old this year for class, so she will be a helper.

  16. Sort of an odd tradition, since Rebekah started school, when she is out for summer vacation, we set aside Wednesdays as our “reading day”. No neighborhood children come over and we laze around and read!
