Hit the Kitchen 4 the 7th inning stretch

Well, today I needed a quick birthday gift card holder! I then remembered a cool gift card holder that Nicole, the Stampin’ Librarian, shared on her blog that she saw from Jill Hillard’s blog. Here is Nicole’s and here is Jill’s, the one that started the chain! 😀 It is cute, quick and easy… which is exactly what I was looking for … you see, this birthday gift card is already belated! Only there was one change in the lineup … I needed this gift card to be for a guy!

So… out of the bullpen, I call upon my 3 Step Baseball set for a home run! I love how this little gift card turned out, especially the linen thread wrapped around the edge (I did a slight modification to the original) to give that stitched glove look (an embellishment that a 16-year-old dude would not gag over) … and it was quick and easy … LOVE THAT!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MATT! You are an All-Star!!!!! 😀
