I tend to think though that it’s more related to what the stores I have access to stock than anything else.

One is a great set that would express the outdoor expierence of a trip to NM and the Southwest (without the cowboy thing)

Two is a great set that incorporates wizards and magic (Harry Potter style)

  14. Wow! Congrats on your new company! I found out about you through a fellow DT member (Julie Masse!) I really like your style and I’m sure you’ll have a great future in this craft!

Let’s see… what kiind of stamps would I like to see? I always like sentiment sets with unique but very versatile sayings in really eye catching fonts. I would also like to see some funky, stylish masculine sets. It seems like most masculine sets are either “too old” (ie: ties) or too “woodsy” (ie: hunting thememd) for me to use for the men I know.

My big b-day is this week and I would love to be surprised and get to catch a sneak peek at some new stamp sets! 😉

What I would love more than anything is sentiments and greetings that perfectly fit circle punches, oval punches, round tab punches and the many other punches out there.

Since your stamps are high quality clear, I would love to see a set with 5 1/2″ rows of designs (posies, stitches, dots, whatever) so that we could stamp without a stamp-a-majig.

    1. Knitting stamps – Sewing seems to have gotten some stamp love, but I love to knit and love the people I knit with, so it would be so fun to combine those!

    2. Crafting supplies stamps – yeah, stamps of craft supplies. I’d love a pair of scissors stamp or a stamp of a marker or something – I am sure there are sayings to go with those.

    3. Boy stamps – not even masculine, just geared toward boys… and something OTHER than the balls from every sport! 🙂

Along those lines, I’d love to see some sentiments geared specifically toward boys/men (although I suppose it would make perfect sense to also create a coordinating set for girls/women – I personally wouldn’t have much use for it as the mother of three boys!) 158. Maria, I love your stamps. I have total faith that you will design something remarkable!! Personally, I love nature, birds.. still haven’t found puppy/kitty designs that I like.

I have an idea for a set using a door or window design which could have various elements to make it seasonal or alter the style of it. I always found that art prints of doors from different places say so much – a door is like a welcome and a window is a view to the world…. Anyway, I think that idea would lend itself to clear “element” stamps.

I also like the idea of sentiment stamps using classic lines from music — my favorites like Andy Williams, Dean Martin.. or the Beatles. For instance, my fave, Moon River: “Wherever you’re going, I’m going your way.” Something sentimental but not lovey dovey valentine-y.

And anything with water… a scene stamp with a river and choices for foliage, a bridge, a campfire on the bank…

Okay.. I’m drifting. Just came by to see if there was any word on the new sets coming out and thought I’d “enter.” Thanks and have fun designing!!

As for new stamp suggestions . . . Medium sized dots background stamp. The small dots are available, but I do not find the medium (approx.1/4 inch dots). Also random small dots (like snow) closer together vs the more orderly rowed dots. Also the reverse of both of these. Reverse script background stamp, Camping (motorhome, rv) blank road signs (customizable) and nature (realistic wildlife stamps – something other than flowers) Mountains ( Nature stamps would make great masculine cards); I love sentiments that are 2-part, one for the front and one for inside a card. Sentiments in fresh, funky , and modern fonts. Sentiments that address serious illness, loss of a pet; School locker and sentiments appropriate for teen birthdays. I love the 3-part stamps, so versatile. Sets containing stamps made to work together inspires creativity. Stamps that utilize common shaped punches most people own. And I agree there is a need for masculine stamps (tools?) and appropriate sentiments “It’s a Guy Thing”, or etc.

    Thanks for asking for input.

I have collected quite a few sayings that I have saved throughout the years. I am always in the look out for easy to use male oriented stamps – something abstract maybe to suit a large age group. Maybe some 2 step birthday packages, balloons, stick figures for different sports like cricket, footie, basketball, skiing, golf, fishing etc (maybe with squiggly shadow stamp backgrounds to fit to save colouring) and funny sayings to match for different age groups.

I am looking forward to seeing your holiday collection – please put my name down to enter the draw for winning one of your wonderful new sets.

I see a lot of “old” women, but there aren’t too many that are about menopause (and the funny stuff that happens at that point in our lives) or after mother hood, (when things start to fall and get loose) ha ha ha

I stamp in my scrapbooks ALL the time and I like to travel around the world and I have yet to fund a stamp that is a pound symbol or a euro symbol. I want these so badly! I would also design a set of images of cities other than just Pisa, Italy, and Paris, France.

    OK that is my suggestion!

The other subject area I would like to see is 4H. My family is very active in the non-animal side of 4H and I would love to be able to scrapbook or stamp some cards with some 4H symbols. I love celebrating holidays and often find that some of the holidays don’t have many stamps for them (ie St. Patrick’s Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving) so I would like to see a wider variety on that line & also sentiments. It’s often hard to find the perfect sentiment for cards.

I’d love a set that included a whole slew of :”made by” stamps for a wide variety of project types and occasions (b-days, holidays, because you’re my best friend, love, family, etc.) Animal themes are usually my favorites along with punky style/gothy stuff. I’m forever in search of stamps featuring small pets–hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas, etc. Or how about less commonly stamped flowers that are just as beautiful as the roses and daisies that are everywhere. Violets are my favorite, but I’d also love to see lavender (great for decorating handmade sachets!), carnations, there are thousands of neat ones. Buddhist themes would be cool too. Lunar (aka Chinese) New Year ones for cards. Scrapbooking/papercrafting themed designs (shaped like scrapbooks, adhesive runners, paper cutters, etc) .I could come up with more and more ideas, but you’ll probably get tired of listening. Stamps for every occasion!

Also, African American people on any stamp image is difficult to find.
I have also thought that movie quotes and pictures would be great (I think Halmark recently launched a set of cards with Star Wars quotes and stuff—but I haven’t found any stamps like this).
Also, if you mix learning with crafts/stamps–parents have a double reason to buy stamps. For example, stamps of the United states, presidents, simple words, –those kinds of things can easily be turned into craft/learning projects for kids.
    Good luck and thanks!

I’m not sure what exactly we’re alllooking for in a masculine design – but we’re definitely not finding it! lol And then there’s the ‘tween and teen males in our lives – most boy images are too cutesy to be used for these ages – and the categories I used above ar too ‘adult’ for ‘tweens and teens. Can masculine images for all ages really be a rhetorical question?
