I made this card for Sarah Moore, who has broken her foot … in TWO places!!! How awful!!!
If you get a chance, go over and wish her well.

My inspiration came from 3 places today. First the Sketch Challenge on the Planet - SK031409 (hosted by Tammy YaHoo!). Second, from Color Throwdown #33 – CTD33 and third, from Sarah’s foot cast! Sarah’s cast is bound to make anyone smile!!!
I sure hope you mend quickly, Sarah ... and aren’t going too crazy from not being able to drive!!!!

Monday KSCrew Challenge – Take 2
Yes, same card, different look.
I wanted another version of yesterday’s card (Lori’s KS Crew Challenge – multi-step stamping using no flowers), that I felt was more suitable to a male, since the first one was better suited for a female.

Remember, anyone is welcomed to play along, but if your card or project uses only Kitchen Sink Stamps [detail rules here]… you may also post your KS Crew Challenge card or project in the “What’s Cook’n with Your Kitchen Sink Stamps” contest too!!!! Theme for Jan./Feb.: Show the LOVE.

Monday in the Kitchen with another Crew Challenge
Are you in the mood to do some 3 Step stamping today? I am!
Today’s Crew Challenge is hosted my KS Crew member, Lori Tecler!!!
Lori’s Challenge: It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 -with a twist. For this challenge, let’s show off some of the non-floral multi-step images from Kitchen Sink Stamps. Apples, hearts, shells, bells, hula girls, and baseballs–they’re all fair game for this challenge.
Here is mine. Thank you Lori … you know how I love to multi-step stamp!
PLUS, thank you all for the great comments and emails for the “Roses – Color Recipe” for the 3 Step Hearts & Roses. Here is another Color Recipe for the Teddy Bear from 3 Step Get Well Teddy.

For more 3 step stamping, please see what the KS Crew has created for today… more inspiration for Lori’s challenge!

A long over due thank you!!!!
Time has really gotten away from me with sending out a BIG “Thank you!” to Keri Lee Sereike, the Kitchen Sink Stamps Guest Designer for August! It sure was a pleasure having Keri visit with us and share her delightful and creative designs! Keri has written on her blog, Pink Lemonade, that her motto is… “When life gives you lemons… make lemonade!” … I’m all for that!
(I love this motto!) And boy, Keri sure knows how to make a get well card brighten up anyone’s day… just like lemonade!!! I’m just sorry that during the month of August, Keri needed to send out quite a number of Get Well cards.
I do hope all her recipients are feeling much better
!
A Big Bear Hug “Thank You” Keri… for finding the time in your busy schedule to share your fun & fresh designs with us! It was a joy getting to know you better! You are always welcomed in the Kitchen!
