Pink Hydrangeas

Happy Kitchen Sink Monday!

My card for today was inspired by Lynn’s 10 min. challenge – #76 (10MC76) - quick masking with nestabilities. I think adding a shape, in this case a square, behind the flowers, makes the flowers look like they are “popping” out of a bow or “window” instead of floating. Thanks Lynn for sharing this great challenge (and tip).

I used 3 Step Hydrangea , 3 Step Letters from the Past and Words of Love.  I think I was a bit heavy-handed when sponging the ink in the square masked area …  I think I should have used a lighter pink. It looks too much like the same color as the flowers. Live and learn. :)
