Mmmmmmmm – those blueberries look good enough to eat! And the strawberries in the ad look scrumptious too!
During the summer in Hawaii, shave ice is a MUST eat!! (Also known as ice shave or snow cones.)

You mean dessert isn’t an all year round thing?!
Hmm, profiteroles filled with ice-cream are delish!

My favorite receipe is something called ‘Blueberry Grunt’. I know, what kind of name is that? The name comes from the sound the blueberries made as they were cooking underneath a layer of a shortcake type batter, which was heavier than the blueberries. Sort of a groaning, popping type sound. When you could heard the sounds you knew the dish was almost done. It’s an old family recipe and was at one time baked in a wood stove oven. (Yes, I’m that old! LOL!)

Oh my! These blueberries look good enough to eat! I’m going to LOVE this stamp set, for sure!
My favorite summertime treat has to be home-made peanutbutter ice cream! We hardly ever make it the rest of the year, but we do that at least once every summer. Somehow it just tastes much better when the weather is hot and sticky!

Do I have to pick just one? Whoppie pies, sundaes and brownies all taste better to me outside at a BBQ.

Ice cream of course. Strawberry pie ranks right up there too but the strawberries are in season here in spring, not summer.

My favorite summertime treats are probably watermelon followed by cherries and blueberries. It’s also very refreshing to go to the closest Mac’s store and get a nice cold banana flavored slurpee! So yummy and cold!

I love to try new desserts for summer bbq’s and I found the best stawberry icecream freezer pie. It is so easy that I have taken the smae recipe and changed up the icecream, made a coffee one a lime one. It never fails to disappoint.
Also how can you mess up a good piece of fruit.

I love all of the fresh fruits that are available during the summertime. I especially like anything from the melon family. Of course when we are camping my all time favorite would be S”more”s.

I want to eat those blueberries right off the page!
FRUIT! I love watermelon & strawberries best. I eat ice cream year round, but homemade in the summer is really good. Still, strawberries and watermelon have to be my summertime faves!
