Go Green – Trash to treasure from the Kitchen!

Time for a new KS Crew Monday Challenge with our Hostess, Lynn, for challenge #14.
Lynn has us really thinking outside of the box today with her challenge today … or maybe I should say thinking outside of the can… as in trash can! Yup… is Trash to Treasure time with Lynn’s challenge… we are Going Green in the Kitchen today!
Lynn’s challenge is to Reduce, Reuse, Re-purpose and Recycle! …. We are Going GREEN in the Kitchen today!
Take some previously used non-stamping item that is headed for the trash can and turn it into a component in your Kitchen Sink project either as a layer or embellishment of some sort! Trash to Treasure so to speak!
I have been weeding out the “no longer needed” computer cds that have been piling up in my office, and I thought … “Why throw them in the trash… they could be a treasure!” So, I created this sun catcher to go in my boys room. It was a lot of fun and is very sparkly when the sun hits it.
(sorry about the window screen in the background).

It’s not always easy to be Green … but, I would say the KS Crew has struck GOLD with their “Trash to Treasure” samples to inspire!!!!
