Monday in the Kitchen with another Crew Challenge
Are you in the mood to do some 3 Step stamping today? I am!
Today’s Crew Challenge is hosted my KS Crew member, Lori Tecler!!!
Lori’s Challenge: It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3 -with a twist. For this challenge, let’s show off some of the non-floral multi-step images from Kitchen Sink Stamps. Apples, hearts, shells, bells, hula girls, and baseballs–they’re all fair game for this challenge.
Here is mine. Thank you Lori … you know how I love to multi-step stamp!
PLUS, thank you all for the great comments and emails for the “Roses – Color Recipe” for the 3 Step Hearts & Roses. Here is another Color Recipe for the Teddy Bear from 3 Step Get Well Teddy.

For more 3 step stamping, please see what the KS Crew has created for today… more inspiration for Lori’s challenge!

Project of the Month for January, PLUS MORE!
I have a “Kitchen Sink” full of stamping fun for you today!
First, I would like to share a project which I had loads of fun making and giving as gifts this Holiday Season. Now, I know stamping on shrink film isn’t anything new … but, what about 3 Step Stamping on shrink film? … with all the wonderful colors that dye inks come in?
I found a type of shrink film by “Shrinky Dink”, to be used with an INK JET printer! One side of this shrink film has a special coating for the ink from the printer to adhere …. which means you can stamp on it! So, using my Stampin’ Up! dye inks and this ink jet shrink film, is how I made this rose bracelet. This project really was fun and easy to make!
OH! And where did I find shrink film for Ink Jet printers? … Michael’s!

For the tutorial with all the details, I created a pdf file that can be downloaded HERE. I would love to know which is preferred, the tutorial right here in this post, or a link to download an easy print version of the tutorial? …. please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
PLUS, I have had many requests for “Color Recipes” for the 3 Step flowers. I thought this would be a great project to share MY recipe list (or cheat sheet) that I use as quick reference when I am stamping roses and don’t have a lot of time to experiment. I hope this pdf file for Color Recipes for Roses you will be find helpful and inspire you to come up with more Color Recipes of your own.
AND, if a project tutorial and the first “Color Recipes” was enough information to digest …. I have ONE MORE tutorial for you! LOL!
Susanna, the creator of the Paper Craft Planet asked me to write a tutorial for the Planet’s Newsletter. You can find this tutorial titled – Multi Step Stamping 101.
Monday already!!!
WOW! Where did that week go???!!!! Maybe, it is better if I don’t know! LOL!
But, I am happy to be in the kitchen with another Kitchen Sink Monday … and I am so happy how this card turned out! Very quick with very little masking!

For more KSS Monday inspiration, stop in for a visit with the KS Crew!

In the Kitchen with a Quick Challenge
Happy Monday!
Today, the kids are back in school from the Holiday break and I am running to catch up!!! So, I am afraid my installment for today’s KS Crew Challenge must be a quick one… but, there was no way was I going to miss out on this challenge hosted my KS Crew member, Julie Masse!!!
Julie’s challenge for us today is to: Create a set of Thank You cards. “Quick & easy”- something you can reproduce fairly quickly – yet still be fabulous!
Here is mine… it is a set of quick & simple one layer card, but love how it turned out
:
Now, I must admit, this set of cards was a Holiday Gift for my oldest son’s teacher. I fell in love with these small 3.5″x5″ red (Mars) envelopes from Stardream (no extra postage needed – Yeah!). I found them about 2 days before the last day of school before the Holidays. Yes, nothing like waiting for the last minute!
So, I cut and scored all the card stock to make a set of 8 cards. Lined all the cards up as you will see below. Then stamped all of step #1, then all of step #2… and so on until 30 minuets later, I was done a had a finished set of 8 cards! Now, if you every stamped with me, you would know this was a World Record!!!! It usually takes me 30 mins. just to decide which stamp set I want to use!!!! LOL!
Thank you Julie … your challenge had perfect timing! I do hope to do another “new” set later in the week!

Please don’t forget to check out what the KS Crew has created for more Monday Kitchen Sink inspiration for today’s challenge!
