Monday in the Kitchen … and a birthday coming up!

I don’t know about you… but I have never been a fan of Mondays!

Now, that my Mondays have turned into Kitchen Sink Day, along with the KS Crew Challenges & visits from a Guest Hostess (last week was our first, Thanks again Emilia!)… Now, I REALLY LIKE Mondays!!! :D

Today’s inspiration came from The Planet’s Card Sketch Challenge – SK120608 and Color Challenge #2, pcpcc2. PLUS, this card goes to someone who is having a birthday this week!

Hope you have a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANGELA!!!!! :D

I created the “make a wish” background using the set, Happy Birthday Cupcake. This set was also used for the rest of the card except for the purple paper of stripes with hearts, which was created using the set, Plaid Plus! and Opalite inks.angelas-birthday

For more Monday Kitchen Sink inspiration, please check out what the talented KS Crew has created. [Please keep Julie and her family ... and the rest of Maine in your thoughts ... since the ice storm, which hit late last week, they all have been without power and water! ... Hang in there Julie! HUGS!]
