Multi Layered Open Window Card

September 9, 2008

I had several people ask how did I get everything lined up with this snowflake card. So I thought it would be helpful if I did a tutorial showing how. :D Staying with SCS card sketch SC190 (this sketch is so much fun!), but changing the colors.

My color inspiration came from Color Throwdown weekly color challenge #8. Another winning color combo! Thanks Ladies!!! :D Thanks for looking! :D

Stamps: 3 Step Holly & Mistletoe from Kitchen Sink Stamps. the rest of the materials are listed at the end of the tutorial.

Thanks for the tutorial! I had seen that card in the gallery and simply dismissed it as too complicated. Now I think I’m gonna have to give it a try. It’s beautiful! I love both your cards.

This card is so stunning. I really love what you have achieved here, and I love your attention to detail. I love the way everything is so precise and exact – I really like to pay attention to little details in my stamping, and I love it when other stampers do too. Thanks so much for sharing.
    Anne.

Stunning card Maria! Love the color combination.

Thank you for the tutorial. Is there some trick to not flatten the embossing you already did on the triangle background when you place the card through the machine to cut the scalloped circle and circle in the middle?
