Hit the Kitchen 4 the 7th inning stretch

Well, today I needed a quick birthday gift card holder! I then remembered a cool gift card holder that Nicole, the Stampin’ Librarian, shared on her blog that she saw from Jill Hillard’s blog. Here is Nicole’s and here is Jill’s , the one that started the chain! It is cute, quick and easy… which is exactly what I was looking for … you see, this birthday gift card is already belated! Only there was one change in the line up …. I needed this gift card to be for a guy!

So… out of the bull pen, I call upon my 3 Step Baseball set for a home run! I love how this little gift card turned out, especially the linen thread wrapped around the edge (I did a slight modification to the original) to give that stitched glove look (an embellishment that a 16 year old dude would not gag over) … and it was quick and easy … LOVE THAT!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT! You are an All Star!!!!!
