Holly & Misteltoe
November 4, 2007
Hi! I would like to share with you a criss cross card I made using one of the four new Kitchen Sink Holiday sets called, 3 Step Holly & Mitletoe. I was inspired by Kitchen Crew member, Lori, who did a great version of this card to showcase designer paper (go check out her work!). This was a fun card to make! You can find the tutorial for this card by Beate Johns on SCS by clicking here.
Materials Used:
stamps: 3 Step Holly & Mistletoe and Background & Boarders from Kitchen Sink Stamps.
paper: Real Red, and True Thyme from Stampin’ Up! and ivory card stock I had on hand.
inks: For the holly leaves - VersaMagic: Sage step #1, Tea Leaves step #2 and Brilliance: Pearl. Thyme step #3. For the holly berries – VersaMagic: Pink Grapefruit step #1, Brilliance: Rocket Red step #2 and Brilliance: Pearl Crimson step #3, plus: Brilliance: Galaxy Gold and Pearl Beige (mistletoe berries step #1).
embellishments: tab paper punch from Stampin’ Up!, gold and red organza ribbon – both are 1/2″wide, and a red pearl brad from s.e.i. (their guy collection).
I want to say a special thank you to another Kitchen Crew member, Beth, for the fantastic watermark she created for all of the Kitchen Crew members and myself!
If you are looking to get a watermark, then Beth is who you need to see!

Your card is very pretty. I have not made a criss cross card yet but certainly will. Thank you very much for the detailed list of supplies that you used.
